Default Halo Projector Headlights Problems

All. Hello again. I tried installing my new headlights from AM

http://www.americanmuscle.com/9904-l...ors-black.html

I connected the black wire of the Halos to the black wire of the parking lights (negative ground). Then the white wire from the Halos to the brown wire of parking lights. The headlights were on but no Halos. Then I switched to connect the white wire from the Halo to the white wire of the parking lights. No Halo either. I have read many MANY posts regarding these lights. Either one or both Halos are out. Anyone have suggestions? I really like the way they look (from pics I've seen). But if this is what I can expect from this type of aftermarket product (not AM's fault) I may just leave the lights stock and get Luminics bulbs (I had ultra white, but now they have Krypton Ultra White oooh).

I've had my angel eyes for about 6 months and the problems have gotten worse and worse. They seem bright when they're on, but when I'm driving there isn't a lot of light. Most recently one the halo's went out (again)--mine tend to turn off and on as they please. I would stop now, take a picture so you can remember this special moment, andput your stocksback in and get the Luminics.

If yours are like mine it the halos, don't have a white wire. Maybe you posted wrong.

Mine are for the 94-98 body, but they should be similar. I have2 halos and 3 accent lights. The 3 accent lights came pre-wired into one white (positive) wire and one black (ground) wire. The Halos each have there own set of wires, one red (positive) and one black (ground). This makes for a total of six wires that have to be connected somewhere. Is that how yours are?

Anyway, if I were you I would pull the headlights out and try directly connecting the one of the halos to the battery just to check it. Red to the positive terminal, and black to the ground terminal. Unlike filament lights the polarity of the connection DOES matter with thehalos. That is to say, that if you were to reverse the connections (i.e. red wire of halos to ground and black wire to positive) you would destroy the halos.

BTW, you had it right originally. The brown wire is the park lamp, and the black is ground. The white (should be white with a stripe of some other color) is the turn signal.

Hope this helps.
