Thanks Nick...Just received my 1st order from AM...Very quick to my door!

I do have one question: The Royal Purple Max ATF (Item # 45001) that I ordered for my 03 Cobra (which uses Dexron III ATF)....Your web site says "DexronŽ III", but I do not see it on the back of the bottle I just got...Just want to make sure I'm using the right stuff!

Thanks for the positive feed back. The RP Max ATF is designed for use in Transmissions that require Dexron III or Mercon ATF fluids.

 

Ok thanks...just want to make sure I'm using the right stuff as you also sell RP Synchromax Manual Transmission fluid....Is anyone better, or is the RP Max ATF fine for my application!

The Max ATF fluid is directly compliant with Dexron III and Mercon ATF standards. Synchromax is Royal Purple's own special formula. You can switch to Synchromax after a full transmission flush. It is supposed to protect your transmission better then the ATF fluid, but your transmission does sound louder with it though. I have heard the difference between the two on a car with stock exhaust and the transmission whine is definitely slightly louder then using the ATF fluid. But you probably won't notice the difference on a car with aftermarket exhaust.
