So I'm thinking I'm going to buy a tuner from American Muscle for my 98 6cyl.

my question is what is the difference between the model that says it's for the 96-98 models:

do you get the same end result from both? and if I get the 96-12 one does that mean I could still use it if in a few years I upgrade to a newer model?
