I've read AMChris asking about likes/dislikes concerning the website, and I just had a suggestion to throw out: A mobile theme for the website. The other night I was waiting on my wife inside my cozy Mustang and pulled out my iPhone. Sitting in my Mustang my mind wandered to the obvious, americanmuscle.com .
I had full reception (3g) and the website crawled in on my iPhone's browser. Android phones may function better as they like viewing flash elements a lot more (to my knowledge), but with the iPhone it was obvious that the graphically intensive site was difficult to get in. Then there was pressing buttons. That was rough since the site is designed to be used with a mouse and keyboard. I LOOVE the site on my computer, but I really think a Mobile Friendly version would be awesome for the downtime I get when I'm out and about.
Just a suggestion. I'm not the type of guy who would buy something via my phone, but I certainly would browse products and research info using my phone when I'm away from a computer. This way, when I get home I go straight to the product of my desire and purchase.

We really like the idea of setting up a mobile app for our site, but as of yet haven't decided if we're going to go through with it or not.

With that said, I've been compiling requests for the mobile app, so we can see what kind of demand there is and it's definitely becoming a long list. At this time I haven't been told yes or no, one way or the other, so I'll keep making my list longer until they realize it's worth it!

I was thinking the same thing the other day. I'm always visiting the site from my phone on my commute to work (don't worry I'm on the bus and subway not driving).

You bet I did! I visit the Mass thread on a regular basis to see what's going on; but I rarely post in there. As long as my schedule permits I'll be there with you guys.
