Only 83k on the car and you have a new clutch? What was wrong with the original? My 95 GT has 109k and the original clutch with no problems at all.

There are many differences between a 95 and 02 not the least of which is the TR-3650 tranny introduced with the 2001 Bullitt. I've seen factory clutches last 120k plus and I've seen them die after 30k. For what it's worth, I've also seen factory automatics with the same range of lifespans. My dad's GMC went through three auto tranny's in 100k miles. Luckily the dealer paid for all of them.

I also do a lot of stop & go driving. The dealer was amazed that the clutch lasted as long as it did. He claimed that they usually go out after 40-50k.

Regardless, there is a new one in there now...
