Default head unit

Hey, just wondering if the alpine (or one of the other brands) iPod adaptor would hook up ok to my stock head unit? What exactly would need to be done and what else would I need to purchase besides the iPod interface? I'm trying to avoid changing out my stock HU because of all of the complicaitons involved, and I want to retain my stock amps/sub/speakers. I have the mach 6-disk HU currently. thanks.

Well unfortunityl you cannot use a brand like alpine's or any1's adapter bc u must have a head unit made by that company and its a specific model that works with the adapter! srry for that part, next i guess u could use itrip if u live in a less populated area where there is free frequency on the radio for u to use.
