Viper, Python, Hornet, Clifford are all made by Directed Electronics. Can't go wrong with those. You'll notice that the top of the line for each of those look almost idetical. I have the Viper871 I think is the model it works awesome, range is decent except in crowded areas or where you have obstructions. Remote start, alarm, keyless entry. Awesome stuff

+1

I went with the Python and have no complaints. I have a manual so I didn't go with the auto start, but I did go with the proximity sensor so I could leave the top down. LCD remote is nice so you can see what zone is being set off and what is causing it (light bump, proximaty, broken glass, etc.) The range is pretty good. I would say about 300 yards in a pretty open area. Mine works from inside my apt to the parking lot. This is a 3rd floor apt with a lot of obstructions and about 100 yds away.

a traking device is good but you still need the alarm to make noise and tell you the car is getting stolen
what happends if you don't notice the car is gone in the midle of the night next morning you activate the tracking device and once they find the vehicle there is no stereo rims seas thiefs are fast lol
viper alarms are good or cliford same company call this number for the deaer near you 1-800-274-0200
