Wire Insulation
When the engine goes back in, Im going to do some rerouting to clean it up, less visible wires ect.
I'm wondering what I can do to the wires to make them more heat resistant. What can I do to protect them from engine bay heat? Im thinking that I would only need to protect them from around 200 degrees and below, but I'd like to go overkill, and I'm thinking Id like to protect it up to 300*. Will the engine bay get hotter than that?
How hot will an intake manifold, the whole intake plumbing, and the engine bay area get?
Also where could I find the supplies to do it? I stopped at Radioshack today and they didnt have anything to protect from heat. Anyone know?
