Default Carputer

If you have an indash dvd player, can you hook it up to a carputer? Can you really buy a good carputer on ebay for $400 and easily hook it up?

My kenwood in dash k915dvd can be hooked to a carputer through a specialized wiring harness that converts the carputer signals into a/v jacks (dont ask me how) but technically it can be done. You can research your model online and figure it out or take it to a local stereo shop and they could tell ya. It's the "brain" of the unit that connects not the headunit itself. Do you have a touchscreen dvd player? I duno what you can get off ebay but if the specs are what you are looking for i guess that' s a good price.
