Default Running speaker wire into trunk

Can anyone give me any insight on how you may have run a power cable from battery or RCA cables into trunk on a 95 (or so) Convertible?

I dont want to tear up stuff, but I cannot find a way to get the wire around back seat...

Thanks in advance.

I have a 95, there is a big ol' rubber plug in the firewall, some where up above the pedals. Push that out or pull it out, then fish your power wire from the battery through that hole, its plenty big enough. And the plastic right inside the door pops right up, tuck it under there, and then up beside the back seat, from there its a home run to the trunk. just make sure you go under the hinge for the back seat.

This will only work if you have an automatic transmission. And also its better to leave the rubber plug inplace and slit it with a knife. That way there is no metal rubbing the power wire.

I have that same type plug in my '00 5 spd and had no problem running the power cable through it. I slit it and ran it the cable through.

No No, my 95 is a 5spd, and so is my friends 95 3.8 5spd, and we both have those lil rubber plugs
wire loom also works to protect the power wire...

You can always do what this guy did. I was sitting in McD's in WA yesterday and looked out teh window at the right time I guess. Look for teh red line at the base of the A pillar. That is his power wire.

you have to take the side panel off next to the seat. Unless your really carefule its hard to tuck the powerwire in there without damaging it. If you take it off there is all kinds of room.
