Default Mustang Alternator Question

Hey all,
I have a 91 Mustnag 2.3L with the original style 75A alternator. I have installed ah HID headlight kit with a set of APC Euro/ Projector headlights, clear corners, Euro Taillights and High intensity 9004 headlights and hight intensity turns, brakes, and reverse lights. I've ALWAYS had voltage problems with the original IA style alternator. I've heard of people installing alternators from 94 and up mustangs that have been built to produce up to 200 amps. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for doing this conversion? Has anybody done it, already? Are there any problems with this conversion that I should be aware of?

Thanx for any and all help!

Default RE: Mustang Alternator Question

ummm, have your original rebuilt to 130 or higher amps... you'll be fine and it should only cost you ~ $100 plus tax
