spl boxes are usually bigger. what kind,size of sub do you have?

Just to help visualize....A cubic foot could be a box 12" high, 12" wide & 12" deep. Your system is
going to sound awesome, please post pics of the finished product...

A semi-off topic question from my carpentry geek side...why the 3/4" MDF? I would think plywood would let you do the same thing with less weight.

MDF has less flex and accoustical has a better sound.

The sub I got is a 12" Phoenix Gold Xenon. 4ohm, 500rms-900max
pic..


The booklet that comes with it recommends those sizes but Ill have to build mine a bit smaller than 3 to make it fit in the trunk.
Also, I took the package tray out of my car and for a winter project, fiberglassed it myself and installed a component set in it. I then had a local shop paint it gloss black with a trim of green to match my car. here are some pics but the window makes it hard to see for the final product...
