Hey guys,

What is the biggest engine you can put in a 1966 Mustang Fastback?

It depends on how much work you are willing to do.

That motor will not fit with the stock engine compartment, which means, it won't fit with stock style suspension or steering. Need to remove the shock towers, add coil overs or Mii type setup.

351w or c based stroker (427 comes to mind) is the largest displacement you can fit as fas as I know without front end surgery.

My goal to have a high performance street/strip beast! Run the 1/4 under 11 seconds and act like their is no budget but just enough to get this engine to drop in nicely.. Lets say I have 10gs just for the engine to fit in, not 10gs for the engine itself..

Based on your goals you have selected the wrong motor IMO.
347 with a power adder will run 9s in a 65-6.
You need to spend the money in the rear, tuning the suspension, bracing the body, and buying tires.
