whats the point of getting a radar that detects but detects late?

the whole point of getting a radar is not to get tickets ..

i was following this car on my way to houston and we were both doing 120 for around 2 hours .. everytime he slows down i slow down too.. and then we both pass a cop .. i was like daaaam he has a good radar but i bet it costed him around $400
doin 120 fer 2 straight hours cant be too good on yer motor

If you are looking to hardwire a radar directly into your car and don't mind spending a little money, I would definately suggest the Beltronics ProRX75plus. It's a concealed system that mounts directly in your car and is one of the most discreet systems on the market. It has 2 front and one rear sensor that mount directly to the front and rear of the vehicle (hidden of course). It senses all radar/laser bands and their intensity, blocks all radar/laser bands, and is undectable by that pain in the *** Interceptor VG-2 Radar Dectector detector that cops love to use so they will never know you are using a radar. It also has an optional display that can be mounted in dash, or just mount the speaker for audible warnings and leave out the display so no one can see that you have it installed. Even with the display, if mounted in a good location when it's turned off most cops wouldn't have a clue that it's a radar. Like others have said it wont do S**T for you if the cop just hits the radar as you go by, but hopefully he will hit it on somebody a distance ahead of you first and then you will know he is there.

Just wondering what you guys think of this? Do you think it will actually scramble the radar/laser efficiently? or am I just wasting my money?

Thanks for the advice

Hard to say. I've never heard of that brand. I've ALWAYS bought Escorts and just recently a Valentine One. I notice the brands he listed as not being as good are all Best Buy crap. I probably wouldn't buy it. I have a couple of friends that have bought jammers before, and they never work.

I just noticed...$230?? He's crazy. For some off brand POS?

www.escortradar.com Get yourself a nice Passport 8500 X50. I wouldn't waste money on something like that. You get what you pay for.
