Default dvd player installed...

Hey guys i just got my 2 peice dvd player and monitor installed in my 97.

I'm just curious as to how long I could run the dvd player (a movie) without juicing out my battery completely...Or if the dvd players come with some kind of warning when about to cut out...

Also is there anything i can buy that can help solve my problem of worrying about my battery dying...

You can look at the stock one but it would probally be better geting a digital volt meter.

Hook up a little light bulb to your switched power and when it goes out, you know your battery is dead. Actually I have read about a product a few years back that monitors your battery and if it gets to be just above what is needed to start your car, it disconnects your electrical so that you can still start your car. I will check to see if I can find it again.

I can run my stiner for a good couple of hours before it will even begin to show signs of fault. I could probobly get away with a lot of electronic devices going at once for 4 hours easily.

wait a second, when u say stinger you mean a dvd player or power inverter?

and how could you run appliances for four hours unless u have a heavy duty battery or something...i think most batteries have a charge life-span of about an hour and a hald (normal batteries) so i was wondering towards a stock battery or a normal priced one
