Im thinkin about gettin a rear seat delete kit because i have 2 alpine 12's in a 10 inch box (thats all i could find to fit in the trunk) They are type R's so they are pretty high powered and i know i need more air space. How does it sound when a rear seat delete kit is installed? I heard they add to the road noise of the car, is this true? I also want to get a poney cut into it, or maybe an alpine symbol and get some lighting going behind that...what kind of battery do i need to do this with?

 

The add a little road noise to the car yes, you'll see when you remove the seat the insulation the seat gives the car. With the seat out it doesn't sound worse at all I dont think. You could even cut out a rectangle out of the back support part of the kit and make it a little cleaner, and increase your SPL that way as well. If you go to my gallery you can see mine.
