I'm going to start out with just the headunit since I ordered some different mods for the car which cost about $1,000. I'm looking to buy a decent headunit most likely off crutchfield and also wanted to know about the install and how to go about it.

Would a beginner in audio/electronics have trouble installing the headunit and then completing the system with installing two subs and an amp?

I'm also worried about the interior appearance and am not sure how appealing it will look so I would greatly appreciate pictures too.
