What do you guys know about dyna mat? I've heard about them reducing rattle etc... what do they actually do??

it will reduce rattles caused by vibration from your soundsystem mostof the time, it also helps with road noise. ever herd the *** whos trunk rattles to **** and it sounds like bolts will fall out?? well dynamat helps eliminate that rattle sound and it help insulate your car so its quieter and better osunding inside

Dynamat is a sound deadner, it helps reduce road noise and rattle....

Works but is overpriced IMO. There are cheaper alternatives such as eDEAD,second skin,hushmat, Or the cheapest of the ways and the only product i use is peel and seel from lowes or home depot. its 13 dollars for 75sq ft. Some people say its gives off a funny smell when it gets hot but i have used it in about 13 vehicles and not one has smelt yet, and it gets pretty hot down here.

Yup, whut he said above...

I have used a few different brands with varying results. Check out brown bread as well. I applied it 3 yrs ago in my truck and it has lasted through the phoenix summers. Make sure to clean the area before applying. Go over it with a damp rag, and then some alcohol.......
