Question about wiring / power.
Hi all. I have absolutely no experience in wiring and electronics, so I figured i'd post up my question here to try and solve my problem. I have put two led bars in my Mustang (Crappy Tire specials I believe, but I didn't buy them) and have wired them to an added fog lamp rocker switch. When I turn on the switch, the led bars light up however they are very very dim, and at sometimes they flicker (they're supposed to be solid bright). They led bars also have a button on them to change visual effects, and when I change one of them to blink for example, then the other one gets brighter then dimer then brighter then dimmer.
I've been told that my problem is ground, so I have re-done the grounding for both lights. They are grounded to the frame of the car inside the plastic part that covers the back of the door opening. I drilled a hole, scraped the paint off, and screwed the ground wires directly to the car's body..... this has not fixed my problem.
Power is given to the rocker switch via a "Add-A-Circuit" thing I put in my fuze box under the dash. Basically, this thing turns one fuze slot into two. The slot I'm using (according to my manual) is a "Data Checking circuit", or something that is used when the car is hooked up for diagnostics or something. This circuit ran a 10 amp fuze. Is it possible that this circuit does not feed enough power to run my led lights? Rather than running these lights through the fuze box, should I wire the power directly to my cigarette lighter or something?? How can I fix this? Thanks for any input!

I would not wire it to that no matter what the fuse rating is[:-]. Why not hit a happy little radio or cig lighter fuse, something that isn't delecate and expensive to replace
.........
It sounds like they are not gettin enough power if the intensity of one depends on the other.
