Default 1968 mustang cd player installation

hey wats up everyone i got a 1968 mustang and i want to put a cd player in it. i was wondering if i need to cut the stock radio insert or or make a custom insert in the console. and i was also wondering if i needed to upgrade any of the electric workings inside the car if i was going to put a amp and sub in my car. thank you

you can cut the dash, put it under the dash in an underdash kit, in the glove box, in a custom consol, there are all kinds of options. Depending on how many amps you add you might want to look at upgrading the alt, but otherwise it is not hard......
