2000 Mustang passenger side mirror replacement help!
Hello all,
I was in an unfortunate altercation with a pole today and my passenger power mirror on my 2000 Mustang was the victim. It was sheared off my car and it's hanging by the power cord.
How can I remove this mirror and keep the remaining cord in such a state that I can easily replace it? I am not a mechanical genius so anything I can do to minimize the hassle with a replacement mirror is appreciated.
If nothing more, what should I do to remove the mirror so I don't look like an idiot driving around with it dangling? Do I simply cut the wire, is does it "plug" into some socket?
Thanks in advance!

you will need to remove the door panel and then unplug the hrns. Cutting the hrns may blow a fuse but more then likely the mirror you will have to buy to replace this one will have that hrns on it and will not hurt anything.
