Default Ipod Placement Ideas

Hey

I want to incorporate my ipod in to my dash or console some how. The only thing is it has to be easily accessable while driving.

Any ideas? Seen anything cool before?

Thanks

Jeff

....if i get lazy i just set it under the e-brae...mine is actually a cup-holder mount...it has its own little "seat"...theres not much to work with our dashes and center consoles...maybe get the clock pod (like the 94-98s where people install the saleen gauges) and have it mounted sideways...that would look kinda clean

Ashtray, or get a direct connect iPod for your deck, then you can just put it in the glovebox or middle console and not have to worry about juggling it around when your driving it or mounting it anywhere easily accessable.

Crutchfeild??? I'm Canadian eh.

I still have that gaping void from removing the stock CD player. The Ipod fits perfectly in that spot when its on its side...I may try to fabricate something but I dont want it to look cheap.

I may put a screen over the hole, then to the direct connec thing to my deck. If I do that I will just attach the ipod to the inside of the glovebox.

Thanks for the suggestions everybody!

cut a shallow hole in the lid to your center counsel, and use a little velcro to hold it there when you open the lid, thats what i did with the remote to my head unit and the ipoc sits in the center councel with the bass booster, i have a direct connect cable tho
