Not sure what you are trying to achieve here. I know the Kicker speakers are pretty reliable and perform very well. Let us know more about your desired sound so we can help more.

Personally, I think you would produce much higher DB's with the Kicker sub setup. And I dont really care for the Alpine stuff. They have decent head units but I do not like their subs.

ok thanks,, im looking for some nice hard hitting loud bass... mostly for rap music and stuff like that. would you say that the kicker setup is a good deal for my type?

Iif not, what else is there within the same price range about?
