I don't exactly know how to do it, but I seen the guy who hooked up my amp and stuff.

remember that thick red cable? connect it to the positive side of your battery and then connect it to the "O" Ring

"The thing in the middle of the red cable"

then run it through your firewall and to the back or where your amp is at. Then jus connect it to where it says battery on the amp.

this tut helped alot: http://www.ehow.com/how_5829_wire-car-stereo.html

Better yet, dont go to the battery, just adds fuel for more corrosion, connect from the distribution box(underhood fuse box), there is a 10mm nut on the side under a sliding cover, perfect for adding accesories, and makes for a much cleaner install, then run your fuse, and take the wire through the main harness grommet in the firewall. Down the kick panel, through the wiring trough under the door sill, up the rear seat side panel and into the trunk, keeps everything nice and hidden. Now remember to run your rca's away from the power and ground, to help cut down on interference. Also your ground needs to be of the same diameter or larger as the power wire. or it will be usless and will cause a few issues. Also keep in mind the power output of the amp when choosing the wire guage, contrary to the guys at Walmart and Circuit City, 10 guage wire is not a fit all.
