Default 2005 mustang speakers

I want to take advantage of the sale crutchfield is having (buy one get one half off) and grab the infiniti speakers i have been wanting. As i understand, both the door speaker and the rear deck speakers are 6X8 however when i do the "will the item fit my car" on crutchfield, these speakers http://www.crutchfield.com/S-gjvKMZA...00&I=1086812CF will only fit in the rear deck and the only infiniti front door speakers available for it are component speakers. Would the reference 6812cf fit in the door pannels? or is there something i'm missing here?

yeah i called crutchfield and thats what they said...

but that leads me to another question unfortunatly which may be more applicable to the forums...

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-gjvKMZA...00&I=1086810CS

these speakers would be my front door alternative.

I have the shaker 500 system... does that come with a place for the crossovers and tweeters in the door or am i going to have to do some modification?

okay... it looks to me like there are two places for speakers... what is the purpose of the top and bottom areas?

those speaker are just as deep 2 7/16". i haven't done anything to mine yet, so i don't want to give you the wrong info. but i find it hard to believe that one 2 7/16" speaker is to deep and one isn't.

well if ya think about it... the ones in the decklid can hang down into the trunk but the ones in the door hit metal at some point.

And in the door pannel... is the top hole a place for the tweeter and or crossover and the bottom a place for the sub or somethin of that nature? i'm kinda confused as to why there is two spots...

Lower speaker is the 8" subwoofer, upper speakers are the 6x8 speakers.
