Fog light rewire for fuel pump shutoff

Fog light rewire for fuel pump shutoff
my GT was converted to an LX, so i was thinking it would be easy to splice into the fuel pump wire and connect it to the fog light switch. i did some searching but didnt find much, has anyone done this or know what i have to do?

I would use the fog light circuit to power a relay, and then use the relay to complete the fuel pump circuit, but yeah, that would be a nice theft deterrent.
