Default SUB NOISE

I am about to get a system put in my car....(2 12's and a 400watt amp) and every mustang witha system that ive heard in town rattles really bad on the outside of the trunk....how do i fix that so mine doesnt rattle??

2 12's is retarded in a mustang. go with 10's. not enough airspace in a mustang trunk for 12's. 10's travel much better in our cars.

well i dont care the system is cheap...but i heard there was something you could line your trunk with and it would stop the noise

fatmat and brownbread works good too. my buddy dynamated his whole trunklid on his 01' gt.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but you don't have enough power there to drive apair of12"'s [sm=sigh.gif]. I think you should stick with a single 10"

the only problem with dynomat is that its ridiculously exspensive, I think that for your car you should put in the system, then isolate each rattle. Make sure to secure the license plate thats usually the first step, then the spare tire components, then some light foam around the "package tray" as some call it (the area right behind the head of the person sitting in the back seat, where the rear speakers are)
