does anyone know what kind of speakers i could use to replace one of my mach 460 door speakers. would it be just basic components?

 

it is not as easy as just replacing the speaker unless you get another factory speaker. I blew my drivers side woofer a couple of weeks ago and have been kinda in the process of replacing it now. The woofer is an 8 ohm woofer which is high for a car audio speaker, most are 4 ohms. If you take the standard car speaker and put it in you will probably overdrive the amp, and then blow it. I replaced the deck already so I am just looking to replace the woofer and then wire it to be driven off of my alpine deck rather then the factory amp.
