Default Satallite Radio

So im lookin into buying satallite radio, sirius to be exact. Well heres the dilema the unit i want is one i can take out of the car and bring into my house and put in a boombox and it cost about $100. So the place i live near charges 200 dollars for the unit and professional installation.....and i being ripped off here. How hard is it to install the unit myself?!?! Im not real savvy with wiring and all that **** and i want it to look nice not ricer rigged in any way. Should i go ahead and pay the 100 and just have them install it or should i try and do it myself?!? Thanks in advance for any help.

If your willing to admit your not so hot on the installation, and you truly want it to look good. Save the shear frustration, cut knuckles, leg cramps, and time most importantly and have them install it. Theres alot of advantages to having it done professionally. If you dont know how to trouble shoot dont install. If something goes wrong, it's going to be covered by them. Bottom line is all you have to do is drop off your car you pick it up it's done you have no worries after that. What will you do if it suddenly stops working, tear it apart and stare at it? Then again if you want to learn about car stereo... This is an opportunity
