Default Rattling Noise

I was wanting to know if there was a cheap way of like mufling or just getting rid of the rattling noise that is comming from my trunk when my subs hit. I drive an 1989 Mustang Maybe something like a household item or something. Just need a little help.

The only way to deal with rattles is "seek & destroy" them. Find a cd that has a VERY low bass section and not much else (easier to hear rattles) and play it loud. Look for things making noise and see what you can do to secure / stop them.
I plan on actually burning a cd with a bass section like this and repeating it many times over so I have a 5 minute "bassomaximovibrato" song to look for such rattles I know will exist when I finish my system. I have a Rakim track that has just such a section to use.

Good luck, Jaz

Clean and vaccuum your trunk area. Rubber washers around those big trunk clips. And on your license plate the 2 (or 4) screws use them there. If you dont care about the car, usea couple cans of Great Stuff and plug everything. (Not pratical but I have seen it done numerous times). Other than just trying random fillers. Get sound deadening. Some of the better stuff is actually pretty cheap now days. Hushmat,eDead. Don't pay for the Dynamat name, it doesn't stick half as well, and cost twice as much.

You get 10 sheets that are 12x12 in this kit for $45. You can get it in black or silver.
