Default windows stuck down

hi, my sister is having trouble with her 1999 mustang v6. she had her "friend" try and fix a problem with the window being off track. He supposedly fixed it by just adjusting some rubber piece by the side view mirror. He didnt open up the door at all. Now when she tries to push the window up button BOTH of the windows don't do anything and they are both stuck down. Please post everything I need to check. Obviously the fuse, but what else can I check? Also when I was trying to check the fuse it said in the owners manual that it was #43 but when i look in the fuse box, it looks like there isn't even a place for a fuse there. Heres a pic.

I would start by checking all the fuses, not just the ones you suspect, don't forget the ones under the hood.

Adjusted a pieceby the mirror? What problem was she having before he touched it?

I think the the window circuits run a 5-wire system meaning that there are no relays to drive them, the switches do all the work. This means that if one of the wires has become disconnected, loose or shorted that probably neither of the windows or switches will work.

Not a good time for the windows to be stuck down huh?

Is your sister hot(just kidding)?

I dont know the whole story but apparently her door wans't closing right, and her "friend" figured that it was because of something with the window track and a rubber piece or something. The door opens and closes fine, but of course both windows are stuck down. In the morning im going to check every single fuse. any other ideas?

first things first lets get the important stuff first, IS SHE HOT LOL!?

I would get the whole story before you start trying to "re-fix" what wasn't really broken. The door wasn't shutting, so he adjusts the window through the mirror, and now the windows are stuck? This all sounds bad, what did she back into with the door open would be my first question, windows or not.........
