its not a sn95, its a new ege(02) if thats what u were talkin about... i was thinkin of making a box with the sub surrounded by the fiberglass(if thats what it is, the plastic material on sub boxes) and that firing into the cabin..what do you think

I think what seight is referring to is the forward facing sub. The sub that PReal has is "driven" into the top of vehicle (or so it would appear from his description), and hence "reflection" of bass waves.

I had an '85 GT hatchback with four 10"s driving upward into the rear window, and it hit HARD as hell. I agree with seight that the sub would be better off in the trunk. I am also a firm believer in NOT advertising your system to anyone that happens to walk by and look into your parked car.

well, yeah, good point on the advertisement part , but still, the sub box/sub would still be in the trunk, just with the seats removed and it facing... do i have enough power for a 2000w amp and the 2 12' subs ?

anyone wanna tell me what setup i should do since you basically all have stangs, box dimensions , should i go across the trunk or get it so it goes across the seating length(but still in the trunk?) and then i put the 2 subs inside fiberglass facing the cabin, this cant be that hard?

You will never need 2000 true watts of power.
I used to work at Best Buy, 3 Years ago though. Moved onto much better and higher end company.

If you have 2000 (actual) watts, power will not be an issue no matter what direction they are facing. I still think you should go into the trunk and face toward the rear (yes, rear) or (better yet) on the sides facing each other or better still, in the corners facing at 45 degree angle toward the front. That way, if you wish, you can lower the back seat, and see if you like/dislike the sound difference. I think an appropriate box (sized specifically for the subs you use) is nice b/c you can secure it in place, but move it if you need access to the spare tire.
