I LOVE rockford. They are the best subs I have ever owned.
Have you owned anything except Rockford?

They WILL work, your sound qualitly might suck though.
Why would the sq suck. You just said how much you liked Rockford, and theres definatly no question the Type-R is no better or worse than Rockford drivers.

ay seight would a 250/1 power my sub well? or is that not enough power. alot of people have told me that it would under power it.

250/1 Is enough. If your buying retail though you might as well get the 500/1 it's like $80-$100 more generally. What brands are you determined in getting. It seems like theres certain brands you wont consider.

personally i dont care. as long as it sounds good and its cheap. i have a $400 budget and a small trunk lol. im only getting one sub. the only reason i thought it would under power it is because the amp puts out half the rms power of the sub. i already have the type R that i picked up for $75 brand new
