I think the real question is what do you mean by connecting to the stock hu.

You can add a sub to any stereo.

All I am going to say is that I pray he know what an LOC is, and that he is not trying to wiring them direct. I have seen to many installs gone wrong.

Hi!
I'm going to install a amp and sub to a stock shaker 500 system in my 06' mustang. Just wondering what u meant by a "line connector". I'm not familiar with that term since I'm swedish. DoI have to use a line connector because the stocksystem don't have a low level output? Please help me out with this!

Thanks in advance

LINE OUT CONVERTER or LOC for short. It will take the speaker level output of a factory deck and knock it down to rca level.

It usually has instructions on how to install with a wiring diagram. It takes your speaker wires and connect them to the line out converter and the other side is RCA plugs and that will need some RCA lines to run to the back of the car to an amplifier. They are really inexpensive and the install is simple. Just takes a little time.
