which is better 2eclipse sw8200's or 2 JL 10w6v2 ?

Also what amp would be best for the W6's? there 400RMS each so thats 800 total RMS? im thinking a JL 1000/1 i can run my door speakers off of it also, or a 500/1?

you cannot run your door speakers off the same amp as your subs...the 1000/1 would be fine for either...as far as SQ i do not know for sure but the JL W6s would probably be "better" than Eclipse...you will need a separate amp for the other speakers though

Obviously the person above has never heard the eclipse aluminum cone drivers. They are considered by many to be one of the best sq subs on the market. I think Jl's are very nice, but grossly overrated and overpriced. If your parents are paying for it then get the JL's, if you are paying, there is much better for the money.

You will need another2 or 4 channel amp to power your door speakers.

Best SQ on the market???

I don't think the RE XXX would agree or concur with you. Even though the Eclipses weigh 50 lbs. for a 10".

Want to throw away your money to JL nut hangers, then go JL. Want to get better, for less. Then tell us what car this is going in.
How much your budget is.
What all you need.
What type of music you like.
How much room for a box you want to use?

First of all rear speakers are redundant. You don't want those.

You have to factor in a wiring harness- $20.00

Amp Kit- $50.00

Are you building a box? If so you can build it way cheaper than paying someone to do it.

What size drivers?
Why two?
What type of music do you like?

Front comp sets, are preference oriented. I can't tell you the perfect one for you, but I can relate you to some good brands, and my favorites, that you can check out.
