iv got a amp kit, its going to be fiberglassed in. probably both or SPL, 10's pr 12's doesnt really matter, because i like equality, and everything except techno, and that other weird poo
1. You can't have both.
2. It does matter.
3. Are you building it, and is it going to be ported or sealed? And is this counting the $2500, or not?

i will get ported or sealed depending on the subs, the price of the fiber glass is already deducted, so $2500, under that is always great tho .
SPL, 10 i know will fit 12 is pushing it

The three underlined are garbage.
The other three are decent.

Answer these questions:

Do you want sound quality or spl (loudness)? Pick one.

Ported or Sealed box?

$2500.00 for Amp, Driver, and box?

Well, SPL wouldlove a ported box.

But got with some older XXX's, or a Brahama.

My friend, who knows a lot more than I on the subject reccommended, d z1 or a sundown 1500D as an amp.

I also reccommend focal, or rainbow comp sets. Those are my personal favorites, but you will need to listen to them to decide which you like the best.

...I dont know anything about stero equipment and I dont even have a clue what ur talking about when u say channels. oo what do the ohms have to do with the subs and amps
Best way to pick out speakers.... Listen to them!

It really is that simple. Keep yourbudget in mind, and listen to those that fit into your price range. Bring some cd's the type of music you like. If you like rap, you will probably be looking more toward 12"s (generally speaking) If you like hard rock, more toward 8"s and 10"s (once again, generally speaking) Have a stereo shop play YOUR music on some different size and type of subs. Ask this person to FLATTEN the signal, with no "enhancement" of bass in any way. Listen to a few different sizes and types. Your ears, not the salesperson, will TELL you what you like.

It makes no difference what ANYONE else likes, they won't even hear them
