Default Current draw...

I have a problem with the electical system. after letting my car (2000 v6)sit for about 2 days i will go to start it and the battery will be dead. does anyone know how much current the car draws when its off? I am sure that i don't leave the lights on etc. because it has happened more than once. anyone with a current meter care to go out in the cold and measure their car for me I need to know the draw when the car is completely OFF, any help is appreciated.

it is late here or I would brave the 60 degree pheonix weather to help ya out brotha. If you know how to hook up a amp meter(remember in series, not parallel) you can do that and then start pulling fuses one by one to see when the current draw drops. I have seen things such as CD changers that quietly shuffled disks with the key off kill batteries after a couple of days.

How old is the bat?

i dont think the battery is that old, probably about a year. we tryed pulling fuses underneath the dash (inside fusebox) and when two of the fuses were pulled the current dropped to almost nothing. im at school right now but when i get home ill check which fuses caused the current to drop.

the fuses were #27 and 39, removing both of those stopped the current draw. now to figure out what exactly branches off that.
