Cam: I'd power it with my PG ZPA 0.5 1180 rms (on its birth cert), class A. You said you have one and you've heard one? Both? Neither?

Seight: Thanks!

yes, a 0.5 has can produce more power then a small import, it will push almost any sub. AWSOME AMP.........

I use to do a lot of systems with ID but that was prior to the idmax. Never been let down by their speakers, solid as that 0.5 you have, would be a good combo......

So no hoser calls BS later...

Maybe I should let my other little friend come out and play too?

Anyhow, after I get the real install done in the car I may snag an IDMAX and give the board a real life review.

Thanks, it was hard to find both in white (The Adcom was dealer order only in white).

Yeah, prolly pony up and get one after I get the box done the way I want. Until then... 2 $50 Audiobahn 12's and my little 50w Audio Art.

Rollin rags 2 riches, beaatches...

That little 50 watt audio art sounds like a great little comp amp.

I saw an old audio art series ppi on craigslist the other day and wished I had a need for one. I already have 2 extra amps lying around.

Yes I have one and heard it in other installs. ID very makes good equipment. Check out there website and go to the forums. I believe its the general and you can buy directly from ID now. I am thinking about 8's if they will fit in my doors.

P: You've got your manufacturers confused. Audio Art is not PPI. My little 50HC has been a beast of an amp, at 600 x 1 @ 1ohm its just a touch too small for an IDMAX. I have about 8 amps lying around, but they're all old school and were hard to find. I don't wanna part with any of 'em ('cept the "Hott-Setup" religated to use in the beater truck). Those art series PPI amps are very nice though. Somewhere I have some pics of the AA. Internally it looks a lot like my ZPA.

Cam: The ID "MAX" series doesn't come in an 8"... IDQ's do and do a nice job.Do you have an ID MAX or an IDQ?
