Default touch screen

so i want to put a touch screen/dvd/nav or what ever it is in my DD.

I like the ones that come out then flip up.

My main question here is, will it work in my car?
Mainly b/c my cd player isnt in my dash, its in my glove box. When you get in my DD it looks like it has glove boxes but the top on is just the cd changer. So i assume that would then just become dead weight? or would i still run my cd's through that?

any one know? I would ask the people around here to take a look at it, but all the shops around here want to charge you just to LOOK at your car. not even to do anything. my friends subs have been acting up and he cant figure it out so he went to the different shops around town and they all wanted to charge him just to LOOK at it. So im deff not going any where until i decide what i want to do.

Yes it will work. What are you talking about a cd changer in your glovebox?

you know how some cars have a cd changer in the trunk? well, mine is in its own compartment above my glove box...looks like another glove box.

Im not talking about in my stang, if that's what you mean...

I can control my cd changer from my radio...but the actual CD CHANGER is in "glove box"

And i have been told by several people that the system i have will not work anymore if you try to take it apart and replace it with something else. so i just want to be 100% sure before i go choping up my Nakamichi...

Ewww what is it a Nissan or something, I forget what cars they put Nakamichi in... Maybe Lexus??? Umm I dont see why a place wouldn't tell you if it'll work to put it in your car thats rediculous. They want to charge just to say yes it'll work but you'll need these parts or no it wont work, thats stupid. I dont have the resources to tell you if a fold out will for a fact work in your car so I dont want to say yes or no just yet, I thought we were talking about the stang at first.

i doubt it would work...are you doing a whole system or just the navi/dvd unit?...why not just take out the factory CD changer and mount an aftermarket one in the same place to match your new HU?...or just get an iPod!
