Ok after further inspection, the sub is wired correctly, and the amp fuse is not blown. The only thing I noticed is that the LCD light on the amp does not come on. I am not sure if it suppose to or not but basically my sub will still not turn on.

I sounds to me like your remote wire, it tells the amp to turn on, is not connected.

Where will those be located. Under the back seat or somewhere up front?

I had a friend check my system today with a voltometer. We are getting plenty of power up front, but somewhere between the deck (didn't pull it out) and the amp/sub the power is dropping to 2 volts. Where could the resistance be?

Where did he check the voltage. On the power or remote wire going into the amp. The one that reads low needs to be fixed.

I took it back to the audio shop where I got it installed today. They went out of business..... The only other places around are circuit city and bestbuy which have messed up several of my friends systems. Or I can take it to their competitors shop but thats kinda low to do.

Which one going into the amp. The remote and 12v positive both go there. Buy a mulitmeter or borrow one and we can walk through the diagnositc.
