Ok, I am trying to put an after market radio into my 88 GT. Looking at the front speaker locations I can see the variou scolor wires, so I tried to hook my radio to them at the plug where it would have went into the orig stereo in the car. NOTHING. No sound. Perhaps the amp thingy behind it all is bad. I removed it. It had 2 wiring plugs going into it. Anyone know what they are? Are those the speaker wires going in then out to the plugs that go into the stereo? Is there a wiring diagram anywhere for this??

this interface works on must of the CD6 radio
to test the radio put a disc in,listen to the cd and press the cd button again,if nothing comes out on the display there is no way to add auxiliary inputs to your radio,
but if the radio shows NO CD , NO DJ this interface will work on mustang CD6 radio

Well lI got the front working. Still no rear.

 

that amp has a speaker output on it. It looks EXACTLY the same as the hrns that I am pointing to on page 2 of my sig. I do not have the colors for you they are paired up next to one another in the 8 pin plug.
