Is your stereo stock?

throwing your rears in the trash, and amping the front speakers.
Why do you always want to trash the rears? I think cars sound good with rear andfront speakers.
You also have very very little experience in car audio.

There are 2 reasons to trash the rears.

First, they move your staging rearward. When you go to a concert do turn around and listen with your back to the stage. If you do rear speakers are great, but if you prefer sound from the front, there is no need for full range rear speakers. If you want some sort of fill from the back, the speakers should not play over around 500hz.

Second, the money you waste upgrading your rears should be spent making the fronts that much better for all the reasons above.

If you look at any sq competitor's car, there will be no rear speakers. I have rears in my wifes car for added volume, but they only low frequencies so they do not harm the soundstage as bad as they could. When I upgrade her car, the rears will be removed so the subs can enter thecabin easier.

Any more questions.....
Well, I am sort into sound quality, but I guess not that much. I like loud and all around the car, front and back sound for increasing volume so I can play music as loud as I want and also be able to wake up the Jones with every word and instrument being and able to hear from the next block. With SQ can you do this? I don't know. Don't really go to any SQ competitions. I just know what I like. I like the bass to boom and the treble to sound crisp. You got to hear the highs and mids over the bass or it won't sound right.

Thats the great part about investing into a great front stage. The music is loud enough to fill the enitre car, be incredibly loud, crisp and tight. YOu can be surrounded by music, but the overwhelming majority comes from the front, just like a concert. I have recieved a noise violation before and my system is setup for SQ, when needed I can develop a lot of bass, but it is almways musical. A good frontstage can even make it sound like your bass is coming from the front, but you still get all the rumble as if it was from the back.

Trust me, with a good front stage, you will find no need for rears.
