LOL naw i spent the extra 125$ for carbon

 

Hey, I recentley had (2) JL 10" subs and i had a horrible rattling problem until i took it back to my audio shop and they took out the tens switched them totwelvesand built me a custom box that is built right behind the seats and is ported through the back speaker panel. Once they did this it relieved all of the trunk pressure and forces all of the cabin to surge with bass, instead of all of it being trapped in the trunk. And now i cant hear any rattling, just good clean bass.


If you guys want to clean out your rattling noise go with this setup

just because you upgraded to a custom built box, doesn't mean it will stop the rattling.

Your trunk, license plate, and loose material will still rattle.

Going up in size + a custom box doesn't do anything to help dampen your rattles.

I just told you.

What you did, did not enable your trunk to stop rattling.

It might of made it sound better, but it did not help the rattle.

i can stand outside my car and not hear anything but bass.

and how would you know? you dont have my setup, you havent listened to my car

Look, let's be smart about this.

You have no dampining equipment.
You have no foam around your trunk.
You certainly haven't cemeted/sand bagged your trunk.

You are telling me that you UPGRADED to a bigger driver, and now your trunk doesn't rattle.

Building a better box will do nothing to stop your license plate or trunk from rattling.

The reason you can't hear anything but bass is because you have your amplifier turned off, and you are listening to your front speakers.

 

Dude your pissing me off,

my trunk is dynamated and i have small amounts of dynamat where my spoiler is bolted down.

my subs face upward toward the opening i had cut into my back panel. all that air goes into the cabin of my car, not my trunk.

but i guess the only way to win with you is if i pull up to your trailer and let you listen to my car.
