'ok look PReal i do appreciate yourcriticism, you are more reasonable and mature than HISSS, but i dont know what to tell you. I have no rattling inside or outside my car. So like it or not either the custom box or the port have something to do with it.
Plus, I feel alot better now knowing that HISSS has gotten kicked out before, Figures.

1. Less SPL then my 6.5's create in my doorsIB with 3 layers of dynomat. (That means your setup is really weak)
2. Your first install was utter crap. (If an enclosure is not mounted properly it will cause vibrations which end in a lot of rattles)
3. Your port was firing directly into a bunch of stuff not mounted properly and when you redirected it, the port was allowed proper airspace to "breathe"
4. You just cant hear the rattles over the addition SPL in the cabin from the picture frame port on the rear shelf.
I have at least one layer of dynomatt on most of my truck. The only part not deadened (the roof) rattles when I crank it up. My setup is not at all setup for SPL it is an SQ setup. (over 600 watts rms into a eclipse sw8122dvc in a 0.7 ft^3 box) When I play with a ported box I build for a $10 visonik I have no rattles. Rattles are not just related to install, the capability of the system to produce SPL (wattage and subwoofer config) makes a big difference.
Can you just stop belly aching now. I'm here to help people, not argue.
