ordered me up some Bostons
I would spend the dollar or two.
It is more then likely you will get closer to 150 watts per channel if that amp is bridged. I'm not aware of how much those bostons can really take, but you will need to be careful with your gains. (not 3/4 the way up) In order to get the proper bridging setup and stil have stereo you will need a pair of y splitters and will need to run both right rca's to one and twochannels and both left rca's to both 3 and 4 channels.

First off, if the battery is in the trunk and 4 guage runs to it that is ok. If he runs 2 gauge to his amps from the battery that is even better then if he just ran 4 guage. The battery is what delviers the current and voltage. The larger the wire from the battery to the amps the better. With a larger power wire you can deliver more power with less resistance. Even if you have a 4 guage wire from your alt to your battery, a 2 guage power wire can delvier more power to your amps then a 4 guage (If the amp needs the power). Your alt charges your battery and the battery acts like a sink. If you are filling it up at a constant rate, you can still have peaks of output that exceed the input.
Easter, you have no expereince in car audio besides kicker subs and crappy 6x8's. You wouldn't know "full" sound if it slapped you in the face. I would doubt that you have ever heard a properly powered and setup stereo, and that you think yours is a top notch system. Your probilibly runnig your rears full range which shows your ignorance on the matter.

All I ask is that you not give advice in a area you have no expertise.
It is really hard for someone that knows what they are talking about to get help when 4-5 newbs to car audio are giving terrible advice. If you are truely here to learn, then why don't you ask for expertise intead of trying to give it.
BTW I'm not anywhere near the ultimate car audio guru.. I keep my mouth shut when I need to and try to help those that really want a better stereo. It is hard for me to give a simple answer when I have people with no knowledge of anything outside of best buy telling everyone what they have a boner for!
