Default 8"subs in rear

i am wondering if the rear speaker boxes are big enough to fit 8" subs in them. the car is a 01 vert gt with the mach 460 and i was wondering if anyone has cut holes to fit bigger speakers. i dont want to give up room in my already small trunk. pics would be great also!

If the rears are 6x8's. CDT makes a great 6x9 inch woofer that produces low frequencies pretty well.

It is a very common upgrade on 92-98 bmw 3 series.

You really don't need the tweets this would be a better option.

You might also look at some 8 in subs like you originally said, but you will need to build adapters to mount them. THe IDQ8 is a great woofer in IB applications.
