$70 on the mark and will blow away a pioneer shallow mount.

Seriously though, we need a total budget and the dimension of a box you would allow. .

Get a tape measure and check to see how much truck room you are willing to give up. A set of 8's in a ported 1 cube enclosure can give nice results. We just have to know what dimentions and monetary contrainsts are on the project!

Amp-$120
sub-$70-100(rather stay low, allows me to buy other stuff for car, and my other vehicles)

I'll try to get to the car for dimensionswhen I can.

24 Wide X 14 Tall BY 12 inches or less Deep. that would be a reasonable box without taking up too much of my trunk. If this works I want to put it in my other cars so this is good. If I could go smaller I won't complain.
Hope that that helps.

Those dimensions give you over 2 1/4 cubes, thats alot more room than you think. The ED sub PReal showed you would work great, and you can make the box alot smaller than the dimensions you gave even. Hell you could easily do 2 of those and have it smaller than those dimensions. You budget for your amp is no probelm. Are you also going to be powering a front stage too? Are are you just wanting to add and amp a subwoofer?

I've would like to power the front stage. Never done it before but speakers seem to sound better when you do that.

Your buying those pioneer rev 6.5 components right.

I would look into running a single 12 woofer in a 1 cube enclosure and the 6.5's off of a 4 channel amp.

The model depends on what speakers and sub you buy.

Have you bought the speakers already?

If you provide a total budget I can provide a couple complete setups. I would steer away from pioneer amps.

unfortunately this is going to take a while to get the money and use it on this setup. But
amp-120
sub-70
speakers-found those pioneer revcomponents for 140

so like $350.
