I have a 93 gt that has a factory am/fm cd player. It's pretty much shot. Do I need to do anything special to install an aftermarket deck into it or do I just buy a wiring connector and splice it in?

 

we need to find out if it has a premuim sound system in it first. Pull the radio out(takes 2 secs with ford radio removal keys) and look under it to see if there is a amp. Either way it is about as easy as it comes and I can get you through it with a kit and a hrns, probably looking $30 in parts to and 1 hr to put it in yourself.

Thanks...I'll pull the old unit out and see if there is an amp and if there is I'll ask about bypassing it or whatever I have to do toinstall the new one.
