I was hoping that I could get some advise on there where’s and how’s of installing tweeters in my 06. I am not sure where a good location for mounting them would be, where I should put the crossover box, and the best place to run the wires.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

I can take a picture for you but what I ended up doing was taking out the plastic triangular pieces where the side mirror toggle is on the driver's side. I just took out the switch and cut a hole in either side and mounted the tweeters there. When I sell the car I figure they're going to be cheap to replace as I didn't want to drill into the entire door panel. They bring up the soundstage very well. I have my crossovers mounted in my trunk.

 

Thank you for sharing your idea. I do like that setup. I was thinking about installing them on the pillar’s that go along the side of the windshield, but your idea makes good sense to me if I ever want to take them back out to sell the car.
