Default Eclipse cd3100

Does anyone on here know anything about the eclipse cd3100 head unit. I have been thinking of getting one but would like to hear about it first. Any good points or bad points. Or maybe you guys have a better choice.

I've had mine about a week. The few days I used it, before I blew my speakers setting the gains on my amp, I really liked it. Not too flashy, simple to use, all the features that I wanted. Until I get replacement speakers, though, the face is just chilling in the case at home. Other than that, I haven't found any cons yet, but I haven't really had a chance to.

I was just looking for an owners perspective on it. A store will tell you nothing but good things, so I just thought if someone has one then they would be able to give a better review.

The only thing I have found on mine I dont like, is sometimes when I click the center button you kinda have to be right on it otherwise it'll sometimes click right or left instead. You only use that button though when your making adjustments, not so much anything while your driving.

Now that you mention it, I did notice the same thing about the center button. When going through the setup, I notice I sometimes click up or down while I press the button. Have to make sure you are dead center. Again, that's only when you setting things up, not really used much.

You shouldn't be changing your crossover while driving anyway, so maybe this is the masterminds at Eclipse trying to prevent doing much other than adjusting volume while driving???
